Values

Can we really call it the “hospitality industry” anymore?

As a Jewish person, I started Mashke Midwest with the principle of tikkun olam or “repairing the world” in mind. Mashke addresses the problems in the industry that I’ve personally encountered, witnessed, and been educated about.

I hope to evolve collectively with those who choose to work beside me with the goal of attainable, radical hospitality for all persons and communities involved from production to consumption.

In practice right now, this looks like me creating beverages inspired by other cultures to lower the environmental cost of production by using local producers and native botanicals.
